Two ways to work with us

Find projects, or deliver them. Project finders are paid commission on work that closes and need a network rather than a technical background. Delivery roles are senior, remote, and involve talking to the people you are building for.

Project finders

Bring us work, get paid on what closes

You do not need to scope, price or sell anything technical. You need to recognise a business with a problem worth solving and make the introduction. Commission is uncapped and agreed in writing before you introduce anyone.

Project Hunter — Ecommerce

Commission, uncapped · Anywhere

Find merchants who need Shopify, WooCommerce or headless commerce work and introduce them. You do not need to scope or price anything — you need to know when a store has a problem worth solving.

A good fit if

  • You already talk to merchants, founders or store managers regularly
  • You can tell a real buying signal from a polite conversation
  • You would rather be paid on what closes than on what you pitched
Apply for this role

Project Hunter — Web & Software

Commission, uncapped · Anywhere

Introduce businesses that need a website, an internal tool, an integration between systems that do not talk, or a SaaS product built. Agencies, consultancies and fractional CTOs make particularly good partners here.

A good fit if

  • You sit near decisions about software being built or replaced
  • You can describe a problem accurately without overselling a solution
  • You want a technical team behind you that will not embarrass you
Apply for this role

Project Hunter — Growth & SEO

Commission, uncapped · Anywhere

Introduce businesses that need search, content, paid media or marketing automation. Includes the honest part: if a budget is too small to reach significance, we will say so rather than take it — and you will not have burned the relationship.

A good fit if

  • You know marketers and business owners who are frustrated with an incumbent
  • You are comfortable with us occasionally declining a lead you brought
  • You value a long relationship over one commission
Apply for this role

Regional Partner

Commission plus retained arrangements · UK, EU, US, Gulf, Australia

A longer-term arrangement for someone who wants to represent us in a market: a steady flow of introductions, local-language conversations, and a share of ongoing work rather than a one-off fee.

A good fit if

  • You have an existing network in one market rather than a cold list
  • You want recurring income from accounts you introduced
  • You can be a real point of contact in your time zone
Apply for this role

Only have one introduction to make rather than a role in mind? That is what the referral programme is for — same idea, no commitment. For an ongoing arrangement with better terms, see the partner programme.

Delivery

Senior roles, client-facing

Clients pay for senior work, so these are experienced roles. You will speak to the people you are building for, and your code will be reviewed by someone who cares about it.

Senior Shopify Developer

Remote · salary or day rate agreed directly

Theme architecture, custom sections, checkout extensions on Plus, private apps, and the diagnostic work of finding out which of forty apps is costing a store its conversion rate.

What we need

  • Deep Liquid and modern JavaScript
  • You have taken a slow store and made it measurably faster
  • You can explain a technical trade-off to a non-technical merchant
Apply for this role

Full-stack Engineer (React / Node)

Remote · salary or day rate agreed directly

Typed React front ends and Node APIs, database schema, authentication, queues and integrations. Work that has to survive real data rather than a demo dataset.

What we need

  • TypeScript by default, not as an afterthought
  • You design for retries and partial failure without being asked
  • You review other people’s code carefully and kindly
Apply for this role

SEO & Content Specialist

Remote · salary or day rate agreed directly

Technical audits, information architecture, content that is written by a person, and measurement against baselines recorded before the work starts.

What we need

  • You can do a technical audit and also write the fix
  • You will not publish AI-generated articles unedited, and you will say so
  • You report what did not work as clearly as what did
Apply for this role

Automation & AI Engineer

Remote · salary or day rate agreed directly

Workflow automation, data pipelines, and LLM features scoped to a client’s own data with refusal behaviour and failure modes defined.

What we need

  • Python or Node, plus real API integration experience
  • You treat an AI feature without a defined “I do not know” as unfinished
  • You are sceptical of demos, including your own

How we work

What it is actually like here

Remote, with real overlap

Work where you like. We agree working hours that overlap the team and the client rather than pretending time zones do not exist.

You talk to clients

Everyone on delivery speaks to the people they are building for. There is no account layer to hide behind, and no account layer distorting what you were asked for.

Two offices, no requirement to be in them

Birmingham and Islamabad exist if you want a desk. Nobody is measured on whether they use one.

Paid on outcomes, honestly stated

Delivery roles are paid a salary or day rate agreed with you directly. Project-finding roles are commission on work that closes. We will not publish a band we then negotiate away from.

Straight answer

When not to apply

  • You want to be handed fully specified tickets. Here you will often be the person who works out what the ticket should say.
  • You would rather not speak to clients. Everyone does, in every role.
  • You want a guaranteed retainer for finding projects. Hunting roles are commission — genuinely uncapped, genuinely not a salary.
  • You are looking for volume placement work. We take fewer projects and scope them properly, which means fewer, better introductions.

Questions

Working with us: 12 questions

What is a “project hunter” exactly?

Someone who finds businesses that need work doing and introduces them to us. You do not scope, price, or manage anything — you make an introduction to a real need, and we take it from there. It suits people who already talk to founders, merchants or marketers as part of their day.

Not the question you had? Send it to us on WhatsApp or email it. We answer in writing — no call required, and no obligation.

None of these quite fit?

Email contact@livinservices.com describing what you do and what you would want to be responsible for. Several of the roles above exist because somebody proposed them.

Ready when you are

Tell us the goal in one sentence.

You get a written scope, one fixed price and a start date back — usually within two business days. No form to complete first, and no call to sit through before you know anything.

  • We usually reply within a couple of hours in working time.
  • No discovery fee, no deposit to hold a slot, and no retainer attached to a build.
  • We write the scope down and attach one fixed price to it, before any work starts.
