Our site is slow — do we need a bigger server?
Usually not, and this is the most common thing we talk people out of. Slowness is more often an unindexed database query, no caching layer, or images served at full size than a genuine shortage of CPU. We measure first and tell you if the answer is simply to pay for more hardware, but it rarely is.
